With the announcement that Travis Scott will be getting his own show on Beats 1 Radio show, it's clear that Apple is not slowing down in handing out airtime to rappers. Travis joins artists like Drake, DJ Khaled, Pharrell, and eventually, Chance The Rapper (last we heard at least), on the network, and it's got us thinking about who else would be a good fit. We've put together a list of 5 shows we'd like to hear, featuring a range of different types of artists. Tyler, The Creator & Vince Staples
Tyler has been hosting his own Golf Radio show for a little while now, but it would be interesting to see him paired up with another personality on a Beats 1 show. Watching interviews with Tyler and fellow Californian and one-time Odd Future collaborator Vince Staples, their dynamic seems perfect to merit its own show. Both have their own styles of humor, and both possess an impressive knowledge of music, complimenting one another perfectly. Tyler does have a good thing going with his Gold Media network, but if he ever decides to make the switch, we suggest he brings Vince along with him.

Apple Music has been steadily growing since its introduction last year, but one demographic it may not be catering to enough to is the stoners. Curren$y seems like the charismatic host to lead a show you can smoke out to, putting together mixes specifically designed for the cause, as well as bringing his infectious humor to the table in between. Wiz (or any other weed-friendly rapper) could come through with a guest mix every now and again, and it could start at 4:20 every week.
Cam'ron

Cam'ron is an incredible storyteller. His way with words extends beyond the realm of music, as his interviews almost always reveal an incredible anecdote told with impeccable comedic timing. Couple that with the fact that he's been in the game since the 90s, and you have the potential for a show that can dig deep into Cam and his guests best stories in the industry. We're thinking something like a New York version of Snoop Dogg's GGN, featuring Cam getting very comfortable with his guests as incredible new facts are casually revealed.
Rae Sremmurd

Rae Sremmurd's most recent appearance on the Breakfast Club proved that a weekly show with the two brothers would be a worthy listen. The two could tell their tour stories on each episode, Jxmmi could give advice on Pokemon Go, and Mike WiLL could serve as the DJ, premiering new music from the Ear Drummers imprint and the various artists he works with. This one could be targeted at a younger audience, with a focus on trappy, party-oriented music. It could even be a late night show, soundtracking your debauchery live.
Waka Flocka
Whenever Flocka decides to retire his belt as the Turn Up God, he will have a promising second career as a radio host if he so chooses. One of the most outspoken and articulate rappers in the game, Waka gained experience interviewing when he grilled candidates hoping to become his blunt roller. He's comfortable with corporate sponsors. He has opinions on everything. His show would touch on a wide variety of topics -- food (he's a vegan), weed, politics, disquisitions in Turn Up Theory... etc. He could hold ad-lib contests. And it all could be hosted by Flocka's own DJ, the equally hilarious DJ Whoo Kid, who already hosts his own show on Shade 45.
