24hrs has recruited Lil Pump for what could very well position itself to be a smash this year. As Twenty hops on the new track "Lie Detector," equipped with his signature pitch-altered vocals, he and Lil Pump swap off on melody-driven verses in a track that you can't help but put on repeat.
This addictive quality is largely the work of the cut’s bouncy backdrop, courtesy of co-producers Rock Solid, Marii Beatz, and Hitmaka. Anchored by a synth-backed melody and a bass that sneaks up on you in the best way, head nods are inevitable. Similar to the newer tunes popping up in his catalog, we see 24hrs moving further away from the darker R&B sound with which he first emerged.
No complaints, though. We’re all for evolution, especially when it sounds this good.
