Everyone involved on 21 Savage's "good day" brought their A-game, no-questions-asked.

The selection of a DJ Paul-esque beat is but only one instance where 21 Savage pays homage to classic material on I Am > I Was. Unlike on "a&t" which also samples from the bag, "good day" does more than conjure up old spirits. You'll notice that Project Pat takes a seat next to his younger contemporaries, hitting 'em up stylish with a humorless spiel on the topic of funeral arrangements, on "good day."

This all occurs in sequential order, right after ScHoolBoy runs his own scrimmage in the intro verse and a Lord Infamous (RIP) vocal sample taken from "Damn I'm Crazed" clears the air. 30 Roc and Cardo should be credited for their tasteful rendering of 21 Savage's vision for a Three Six homage. It would seem, that 30 & Cardo's were able to syncretize "the vision" for the project by blending new techniques with memories of old. DJ Paul would be proud, so would DJ Screw if he were alive today.

Quotable Lyrics:

Got the bull for 50 things, now he wanna kill me now
50 drums, air his mammy house, do he feel me now?
Left his kinfolk full of leaks, in the street we play for keeps
Closed casket I aimed for his head, shot him in his teeth.
