All good things must come to an end.
With Memorial Day weekend winding down, why not check out what some members of the hip-hop community have been up to over the past few days? It's clear that the holiday means something different to everybody. Some used the opportunity to turn up, while others were more introspective, choosing to honor those who fell in battle. Either way, the weekend looked to be a busy one full of revelry, love, relaxation, and reflection.

While I respect what it takes to be a soldier, I am anti imperialism and anti war. With that said, on this Memorial Day I'd like to salute US army vet Ricky John Best. Along with Taliesin Namkai Meche and Micah David Cole Fletcher they stopped a white supremacist in Portland from harassing a Muslim woman. They were all stabbed by this lunatic, Ricky and Taliesin died over this. Ricky was a republican, and a soldier. On paper we wouldn't get along. But he exhibited the courage that should inspire all of us and he gave his life to make the world a better place. I salute these men and send my condolences to their families.
