The 2014 BET Hip-Hop Awards went down in Atlanta this past weekend, although viewers don't actually get to see the event until it airs on BET on October 14th. Nonetheless, we have some green carpet exclusive coverage from the past weekend that you can check out prior to the awards show airing.

The event always brings out an array of different artists, some are still on their way up while others have established themselves in the game. Although the green carpet can be chaotic and busy, we caught up with artists like Rich Homie Quan, Mila J, K. Camp, Lil Boosie, Ty Dolla $ign, Vince Staples, Yo Gotti, Migos, DJ Mustard, King Los and plenty more. The brief interviews shed light on what these artists were doing before they hit the green carpet, we find out what everyone is looking forward to seeing later that night, plus we get a few opinions on this year's nominations.
