On Saturday, Kendrick Lamar shared a text message on IG that he received from his mom congratulating him on his new album DAMN. Following the post, 2 Chainz decided to take a screen shot of the text and share it on his own IG, informing his followers that “this the best thing I ever saw” due to the nature of his own relationship with his mother and how close they are. So to show his appreciation for his mother, 2 Chainz decided to surprise her with a brand new home on Monday.
Announced on Instagram Monday night, 2 Chainz says he purchased his mom a new home for no reason at all, and he shared a text he received from his aunt in the process, in similar fashion as to what K. Dot did. His caption read: “So I bought my moms a new house today for no reason , well it is a reason , she my momma ! I Bought her a house 2012 before I knew I was gone be one of the biggest artists out here ...,,still!!! I love you mom you deserve it ! And my AUNT JUNE sends me this …."
