While we haven't heard a new full length Young Thug project since Beautiful Thugger Girls, the looming arrival of Slim Language stands as one of the year's more anticipated latter-half drops. Likewise for 2 Chainz' forthcoming Rap Or Go To The League, which has been garnering hype since it was first announced via blimp. Though we have yet to hear anything about a potential collaboration between both parties, 2 Chainz has recently stoked the fires of speculation with a curiously titled Instagram picture.
Simply styled "studio vibes," the image in question depicts both parties engulfed in what looks to be pleasantries. Behind them, a backdrop of red velvet and myriad synths. One can only wonder what the studio session yielded, but given the recent output from both Chainz and Thug, it was no doubt madness. Sadly, pictures such as these often fuel more theorizing than it's probably worth, but we are, after all, creatures of habit.
Both rappers have projects coming up, with 2 Chainz' Rap Or Go To The League and Thugger's Slime Language set to drop this summer. It stands to reason that either album would benefit from the addition of a Tity Boi/Young Thug collaboration; one can only hate that the pair will have enough material in the vault to go around. Share the wealth, gentlemen. The game needs it.
