As reported by the New York Post, it seems there was a mild shooting at Harlem rapper Teyana Taylor's 4th of July party, which she hosted in Morningside Park, a public space in the northern portion of Manhattan.

A 200-person crowd gathered for a cookout in the park around 9 p.m. last night, and it quickly grew out of control. The party eventually expanded through the whole park to the edge of the West Side Highway, where some attempted to climb the fences surrounding the Riverbank State Park.

Police were called to the scene, and a housing sergeant apparently injured his shoulder while trying to disperse the crowd. Also, a 14-year-old boy was arrested for firing a gun into the air in the midst of the chaos.

That's all we have for now. View an image of the scene in the gallery above.
