12th Street is a duo QueensBridge, NY, though only one half of the group, Jae Chaso, appears on their new submission "Kloud9." The smoked out track comes off their new mixtape The Formula and mixes a hazy instrumental with some clear-eyed rhymes. When the hook hits, it brings it all together in a soulful burst. It's not a distinctly New York record, but the DNA of the city's rich rap history is present.
