10 Essential Lil Uzi Vert Tracks

Lil Uzi Vert is a young artist out of Philadelphia that has had a huge 2015. He's worked with the likes of Cardo, DJ Drama, A$AP Ferg, Metro Boomin and more. If you don't know him, it's a good time to get acquainted. 

The Philly native just dropped a full-length project titled Luv Is Rage. Featuring Wiz Khalifa and Young Thug on respective tracks, and production from TM88, Don Cannon, Sonny Digital, FKi, and more, the project is sixteen songs worth of trap-influenced hip hop rebooted for 2015. Last month we served you Lil Herb's ten essential tracks, which included this cut with Lil Uzi Vert. It's one of the more popular songs by both parties, so here it is again, just in case it didn't resonate the first time around.

Our boy Lil Uzi Vert loves Dej Loaf. He said in an interview with XXL, "I’m in love with Dej Loaf. I got a whole song dedicated to her basically and she heard it. I met her at SXSW. I kept running into her. It was destiny it was supposed to be. I saw everybody like once or twice but with her I bumped into her like five, six, seven times...We definitely connected." Uzi also linked up with Cardo for this cut, which served to hype up the recently released full-length Luv Is Rage. Employing a gurgly Future-like flow, our subject mixes his flow with some unorthodox approaches to timing.
