Aspiring music artist Blair Payne, also known by his stage name Blayne, is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Ever since he could understand what the words meant, Blayne has been a fan of the Hip-Hop and R&B genres. He likes artists such as Kanye West, Drake, Wiz Khalifa, Young Jeezy, Wale, J. Cole, Mac Miller, Rihanna, Lady GaGa, and Biggie Smalls. Blayne first decided to begin rapping when he and two other friends Henry Wilson, known by rap name "B-Dolla" and Matthew Holmes, known by rap name "Q-Money" decided to start writing and recording music for fun. They were using the video cameras on their phones and rapping to instrumentals and uploading the videos to YouTube. The group made up of B-Dolla, Q-Money, and Blayne were going by the label name of "U.P.T. Productions". One day Blayne met another aspiring artist Ty Miller known as rap name "Young Fitz" (Rock Steady), Young Fitz owned his own home recording studio and gave Blayne the chance to record a song of his own. Blayne then started writing songs on a regular basis, after friend Young Fitz moved out of town to pursue a career Blayne took action and bought some basic studio equipment of his own.
