Yungeen Ace is a true survivor, and you can hear it in his lyrics. Ace's career took a left turn when he was shot during a drive-by that also took the lives of his brother and two friends. Instead of giving up, Ace went harder after recovering from the shooting. "I don't like talking to people. I don't want to go to counseling," he told Complex. "I'm not gonna want to say what I want to say. Music speaks for me. I got a message, and somebody gonna want to hear it. Somebody is gonna hear it."
Ace has come through with a new project entitled Life I'm Livin, the follow up to his Life Of Betrayal tape. Running for nine tracks, the new mixtape has no listed features. The solo venture makes sense: Ace can explain the life he's living without sacrificing his narrative by adding a long list of features. Stream Life I'm Livin now on Spotify, Apple Music, and Tidal.
