Young Scooter was released from prison this past Wednesday, after serving just over six months on a probation violation. Following his release, he's getting right back into the music, having announced a release date for his second installment of Street Lottery.
Last month we reported that Young Scooter was sharing a jail cell with friend and frequent collaborator, Gucci Mane. While GuWop saw release a few weeks back, Scooter is still behind bars. Today Scoo-Wop released both a new song recorded over the phone from prison as well as a letter to his fans.
According to DDotOmen, ATLien rapper Young Scooter, aka Kenneth Edward Bailey, was pulled over by police three days ago for driving with a suspended license, which was apparently a violation of his probation.
The rising Young Scooter has been making some noise as of late, and its all fitting that his recent "Colombia" remix gets the visual treatment. The heavy street heater features Rick Ross, Birdman, and Gucci Mane all adding verses for the remix.
Young Scooter's name is rising quickly. We've seen him heavily featured on Future's FBG: The Movie, last week's collaborative tape with Gucci, as well as his own Street Lottery mixtape earlier this year.
