NEW ALBUM IN THE MAKING Young Jai is a 24 year old native Memphian. At a young age Jai has always been interested in music. Getting his first 16 track sequencer at the age of 15, Jai has been producing beats for over 7 years. Learning the ropes of engineering at 18 Jai has been producing tracks, writing, and engineering for what some would consider quite a bit. Now at the age of 25, Jai has been a major player in getting the "Jookin" dance movement going across the world. Jai has also experienced much love through his 2007 mixtape release “The Memphis Makeover” sample cd, myspace.com. and over 2.000,000 views on youtube.com. Jai released his Debut Solo Album Jan. 2009 entitled “The Memphis Makeover” and also Memphis Jookin Vol 2. of the Memphis Jookin DVD collection. With his less negative rap style and exposure all over the world via internet, Jai is constantly grinding to build his buzz and get recognized in the rap industry.
