As expected, Young Thug came through last Friday and released his highly anticipated Slime Language album, featuring guest appearances from Gunna, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Baby, Duke, and more. Now, just days later we have the early projections for its first week sales. Thugger isn’t typically known for moving big numbers, and this project is no different.

According to HitsDoubleDaily, Slime Language is expected to move anywhere from 44k–49k copies in its first week, with 4k-5k of those coming from pure sales. In comparison, Thugger’s last solo project, Beautiful Thugger Girls, sold only sold 37,000 units, giving Slime Language a slight advantage in numbers. If the numbers do stick, Slime Language will land #8 on the charts just behind country singer Cole Swindell, who just released his own album, All Of It.

Other projects ahead of Thugger this week would be Ariana Grande, Travis Scott, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Post Malone and the late Aretha Franklin, in that order too. Ariana Grande’s Sweetener is pretty much certain to land the #1 spot this week, with her moving an impressive 210K-220K units, topping Nicki Minaj's own opening week.
