Starrah is an L.A.-based songwriter responsible for co-writing some of the biggest hits of the last year. Among the songs she's contributed to are Rihanna's "Needed Me," Kevin Gates' "Two Phones," Dreezy's "Body," Kid Ink and DeJ Loaf's "Be Real," and Jeremih's "Pass Dat." She also has writing credits on three tracks from Travis Scott's new album, Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight, one of which being the infectious single, "Pick Up The Phone." A little while back, Young Thug's sister suggested that the original song was a collaboration between Thug and Starrah, and accused Travis of "stealing" the track. As XXL points out, what sounds like an early version of the record has surfaced today, and indeed features Starrah singing the parts later recorded by Travis. However, Thug's "Travis Scott" shout-out is still audible in the intro, making it seem as though he was intended to be on the song at this point. Either way, the song landed on both Thug and Travis' projects, and Starrah is properly credited, so it seems everyone is happy with how it turned out in the end.
