El Paso emcee Evander Griiim has been buzzing for a while. In January, Gucci Mane hopped on the remix for his hit "Right Now" and even made a music video for it. Young Thug is the latest rapper to cosign the 19-year-old newcomer.

"Yeah man, we poppin' the shit man my lil' bro about to take off," Thugger says in a clip circulating on social media.

The ATL rapper wraps an arm around Griiim's shoulder while acknowledging his artistic ability. Perhaps we'll see a collaboration with Thugger soon. In the meantime, another rapper from the A has already recruited Evander. Billboard reports, the Texan features on Lil Yachty's upcoming debut Teenage Emotions. He's reportedly also worked on an unreleased joint with Offset.
