Damond Blue came through with a new single called "WTS" in October. The Young Thug collaboration recently got a visual treatment to match the ode to the bright lights rise. The Baltimore artist commented on the process of working with Thug.
“I’ve been a huge Young Thug fan since he put out 'Danny Glover' and was definitely on the bucket list of artists I have set out to work with in my career. We had a hard time getting the video done due to Thug’s crazy schedule, this was during Fashion Week, but we made it work. He hit me and said to slide through to Future’s studio and we got it done.”
According to his Soundcloud page, Damond Blue is set on bringing freshness to the scene.
“I want a person to hear me on a song and automatically know it’s me after a matter of seconds. Nowadays everyone sounds the same and no one is unique anymore; I feel like I fill that void.”
