Monday night at the Best Buy theater in NYC, 9 of the 12 XXL Freshmen took the stage for a very special performance. HotNewHipHop was at the high-energy show, and we've got a full gallery of photos to prove it.
Apart from memorable performances from up-and-coming rappers like Kevin Gates, Lil Bibby, and Rich Homie Quan, plenty of surprise guests also graced the stage.
Kid Ink made an appearance during the set from fellow L.A. native, Ty Dolla $ign, while Troy Ave also put on for his city, bringing out hometown hero, Fabolous.
Missing from the event were Chance The Rapper, Lil Durk & TDE's Isaiah Rashad.
