Drake shook up the internet as per usual when his track "Wu-Tang Forever" leaked. The record, which you'll receive with the pre-order of Nothing Was The Same, is produced by Noah '40' Shebib and samples Wu's "It's Yourz."

A lot of comments in regards to the track have been mixed with confusion as well as hate, perhaps because Wu-Tang isn't the point of discussion in the record-- it's a Drizzy song straight up, as he discusses his girls and artistry.

Wu-Tang Clan have come to the defense of Drake's track. Wu tweeted, "HOW CAN WU FANS BE MAD A DRAKE LET ALONE WUTANG FOR PAYING HOMAGE ?"

Wu affiliate Inspectah Deck also tweeted about the amount of disses Drake was receiving for the record.

[Update: Inspectah Deck Does Not Support The Record]

Looks like there's a change of heart. Inspectah Deck said that he supported Drake's song prior to hearing it this morning. However, after listening to it, Inspectah Deck said he agrees with the fans who believe the song should not be titled after Wu-Tang Clan's second album, Wu-Tang Forever. He took to twitter to express his feelings.

Check out his recent tweets below.

[Update: Wu-Tang Have Recorded A Remix]

While Inspectah Deckhas recently dismissed Drake's ode to Wu, U-God has revealed that at least some of the members have recorded verses to a remix of the song. The studio session apparently happened earlier in the summer, so you can most likely expect another version of the song to drop soon.

“They wanted us to remix it and get on there [so] you gon’ probably hear another one with us on it,” said. U-God. “Meth did his verse—we all did our verses. I wrote my rhyme in probably 15, 20 minutes. We were moving so fast we only had about four hours of studio time. If I had some time to really sit down and get juicy with it, I probably could’ve got juicier with it. But I still do a nice one, I still do a real banger.”

The aspect of the song that Deck is possibly overlooking is the sample source. Listen to the Wu-Tang Forever track Drake's song pulls from below.
