Take it for what it is, but Wiz Khalifa took to twitter earlier tonight to voice his opinion on Kanye West’s new album title Waves, and he doesn’t seem to be down with it.

Trying to educate his followers, Wiz pointed out that the “Wave” movement is and comes from the incarcerated Max B, who made it popular in the early-mid 2000’s. Before flooding his timeline with examples of Max B’s wavy work, Wiz tweeted out, “please don’t take the wave. Max B is the wavy one. He created the wave. There is no wave without him. I’m a wavy baby for sure. And Im not having it.”

Check out the series of tweets Wiz just posted below and let us know what you take from it.

Update: Whether Wiz’ tweets brought it to Kanye’s attention or not, the G.O.O.D. Music CEO decided to give a shout out to Max B on twitter Tuesday night for using the title “Waves” for his album.
