We’ve been hearing about the sequel to Wiz Khalifa’s Rolling Papers album ever since May of last year when he first made the announcement on twitter, but it appears we’re finally close to its long awaited arrival. Rumored to be dropping sometime this Summer, Wiz just took to his Instagram a couple hours ago to preview an upcoming song from the album, along with the caption, “might drop this soon,” referring to the record.
Backed by some female vocals on the chorus, Wiz delivers a feel-good vibe in the preview, opening his raps with... “Lot of y’all got it fucked up, We started it we gon’ end this shit/ what you think this is, How you think you got in the biz?/ I’mma a roll a joint write me a verse before I finish it.”
The title of the record may still be unknown at the moment, but it isn’t the first thing we’ve heard off Rolling Papers 2. Last year, Wiz previewed an upcoming TM88-produced banger that will see life on the album as well, which you can watch here.
