Black Magic

Greensboro, NC's Wi$e is a rapper and poet who's already released 3 projects this year. His new submission, "Black Magic," is the single off his latest effort Good Things Await You. The beat is built around a transfixing wah guitar riff, providing a foil for Wi$e's slick words to work around. It makes for some surprising and effective flows, and never settles into a style that's too familiar. It's a promising first impression.
