Laughter can make the pain go away, or at least that's what people say. Will Ferrell is taking that motto to heart, and is throwing his Best Night Of Your Life charity event for cancer survivors. Proceeds from the event go to Cancer for College, which awards scholarships to cancer survivors. For Best Night Of Your Life, Ferrell has enlisted an ensemble cast of comedians alongside his partner for the charity event Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith.
Among the names gracing the stage for the event are Jerry Seinfeld, Michelle Wolf, Jerrod Carmichael, James Corden, Jimmy Kimmel, Samantha Bee, Conan O’Brien, Jim Jefferies, Brody Stevens, Zooey Deschanel, Kumail Nanjiani, and more. Chad Smith has also assembled musical acts for the event, which will include performances by Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses, Stefan Lessard of Dave Matthews Band, the Chili Peppers’ Josh Klinghoffer, Brad Paisley, and Pearl Jam’s Mike McCready. Ferrell released a trailer for the event, where he wears an obvious disguise and sells the production to the audience. “I hope he does Ron Burgundy,” states the disguised Ferrell. Will Ferrell’s Best Night of Your Life will take place on Saturday, October 6, at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles.
