Following "Down In The DM," Yo Gotti is bigger than he's ever been, and as a result, it's never been a better time to be an artist on his CMG label. Alongside Snootie Wild and Blac Youngsta, Wave Chappelle has been making moves over the last year or two, and his latest track, "Boss Up," with Lil Uzi Vert is further proof of his potential.
An operatic synth sound sets the grandiose tone of the gritty street record, which Wave greets with some energetic flows, before descending into a low-register, half-sung hook. Later on, Uzi shows up and shows us why he's got so uch attention right now, delivering a nimble, subtly auto-tuned flow that's as catchy as it is punchy.
