Milwaukee's Wave Chapelle just shared his W⚡️ mixtape, which found him working with hometown producer, Maajei Vu, and the two have come together once again on Wave's new release, "Authentic."
The track serves as one of the most layered and cerebral works from the beatmaker, bringing out eery synths, cushiony sub-bass, and tip-toing high hats, before pulling out the drums for and introducing a creeping keyboard line in the song's cemter. Wave's delivery remains collected and precise throughout, culminating in some tightly packed triplets in the final verse. You can listen to his tape, released back in April, here.
