Netflix is swinging with the heavy hitters now.

With the wild end to the Academy Awards last night, it’s easy to forget the very surprising reveal that showed up midway through the show: Will Smith is starring in a movie that will premiere on Netflix. The trailer for Bright is only 30 seconds so we don’t have much to go, but watch (or re-watch) it below.

This movie’s cast is probably the biggest demonstration that Netflix is swinging with big movies studios these days when it comes to their releases. They paid over $90 million for the rights to Bright back in March. The movie seems to be a cop thriller with a supernatural twist, but we’ll have to wait for another trailer to find out more. It’s being directed by David Ayer, who directed Will Smith in Suicide Squad (which took home an Oscar last night).

The movie doesn’t have a firm release date; only the month of December is referenced in the trailer.
