The amount of high-profile Netflix content and movies headed to our living rooms over the next year is truly mind-boggling. The latest is Mindhunter, a show about two FBI agents who interview imprisoned serial killers to try and solve unsolved murders. Check out the dark trailer below.

With Rorschach test-like ink blots combined with lurid descriptions of murder, this show has ‘psychological thriller’ written all over it. The premise sounds like a mix of Silence of the Lambs and Seven (which David Fincher also directed). The show is set in 1979 and is based on the non-fiction book Mindhunter: Inside The FBI’s Elite Serial Crime Unit. Could this be Netflix's True Detective?

The show is slated to drop sometime in October, is it going to be on your watch list?
