Shy Glizzy's "Do You Understand" is perfect summer single follow-up after ruling the airwaves last summer with his verse on GoldLink's "Crew." As you probably remember, the video for "Crew" was as memorable as the song, and Glizzy has done his best to pack a similar energy into his new crew track which features Tory Lanez and Gunna. Rather than making the obvious choice of putting Lanez on the hook, Glizzy holds down the chorus, reminding us that he has a knack for writing earworms (let's not forget the unshakeable "So Awesome").
As for the video, it starts out at the poolside, which seems like the perfect setting for the track. However, by the end, we've changed locations multiple times, eventually making it to an abandoned building where a U-Haul is packed with cardboard boxes and a table in a mansion that's stocked with cash, jewelry, and champagne. Watch the clip above and look out for a new project from Glizzy in the near future.
