Watch Demetrius Shipp Jr. Become Tupac In New HBO Documentary Clip

The much-anticipated Tupac Shakur biopic All Eyez on Me will finally hit cinemas on June 16 and, before the flick's release, HBO will air a First Look special that will feature previously unreleased behind-the-scenes footage and cast interviews.

In an exclusive clip that's already online, you can see star Demetrius Shipp Jr.'s audition for the role of Pac and stun everyone in the process. "My assistant came and said, 'I don't know how to tell you this, but Tupac is in the lobby,'" producer L.T. Hutton says of realizing Shipp Jr. was going to be the movie's anchor. "I walk out, and lo and behold, I'm like 'Yo, it's 2Pac,' [in] every sense of the word."
