Wale plans to drop two albums this year, but before he makes good on that promise, he has taken the time to revisit his last album, The Album About Nothing, by providing a video to the track "The God Smile." For the new video, Wale travels to the country of his heritage, Nigeria, to provide a vibrant snapshot of the country's culture, which has provided the D.C. rapper with a warm reception.
The video functions as an effective tourism advert for Nigeria, but it's also good reason to revisit Wale's uplifting anthem, which proves that there was, in fact, quite a lot of substance on The Album About Nothing.
