Vince Staples dropped by "The Cruz Show" on LA's Power 106.1 Monday morning to drop a casual freestyle. The XXL Freshman's Summertime '06 is due out June 30 but as of last night is available for streaming in its entirety via NPR.
In addition to talking Summertime '06 with the Cruz Show crew, Vince offered his thoughts on the future of the music industry with the current paradigm shift towards streaming, what it means to be a teenager, and his role in the Pharrell-produced film "Dope." Articulate and down to earth as always.
