Last weekend, Vince Staples tweeted, "You know them tweets everybody send out insinuating they got new music ? This one of those." Fans were clearly excited to know that he had new music coming, but he didn't reveal when we could expect it to drop. Thankfully, the wait is over and Vince is blessing us with some new tunes at the end of the week.

Vince Staples is gearing up to release a new single this Friday. The rapper hit Twitter to announce that he has new music coming just in time for his performance at ComplexCon this Friday.

"GOOD MORNING CITCH WE GOT NEW VINCE STAPLES THIS FRIDAY," he wrote. "Right before complexcon bring the Crips!!"

We haven't received a whole lot of music from Vince Staples this year. The Long Beach native released his single "Get The Fuck Off My Dick" after he launched a GoFundMe to fund his "retirement." Aside from that single, he also collaborated with Yugen Blakrok on "Opps" for Kendrick Lamar's Black Panther: The Album.

Despite the release of new music this Friday, it looks like Vince may have put music on the side to put more of a focus on film. Earlier this month, it was reported that Vince landed his first leading acting role in the upcoming indie film, PunkAdditionally, he was tapped to voice a character in the upcoming anime film, MFKZ. Keep your eyes peeled for those two films and stay tuned for new music from Vince.
