G. Dep admitted to shooting John Henkel in 1993 during a robbery gone bad.
Former Bad Boy rapper, G. Dep, (whose government name is Trevell Coleman) is currently standing trial for the murder of John Henkel, whom he confessed to killing in 1993 during a botched robbery.
In 2010 G. Dep walked into a police station and admitted that his conscience was getting the best of him after shooting Henkel in 1993. The Manhattan Supreme Court immediately charged the rapper with second-degree murder, meaning he could face 25-to-life in prison.
