The rap and fashion worlds seem to intersecting more than ever these days, and that trend continues with the announcement of Alexander Wang's upcoming campaign. Creating an Instagram for the "WANGSQUAD," the brand announced a collection of 21 figures who would be contributing to the Wang image. Posted through individual Polaroid shots, Travis Scott, iLoveMakonnen, and Vic Mensa were among the group, as well as fellow artists like Alice Glass and Baauer. All of them impeccably dressed, as usual.

In case you missed it, Chicago officials released footage on Tuesday afternoon of a white police officer fatally shooting a 17-year old black male, Laquan McDonald, back in October of 2014. Soon after the footage had surfaced, protestors took to the streets of Chicago demanding justice for Laquan's family, and one person in particular who partook in the righteous action was hometown rapper, Vic Mensa.

Earlier today, Young Chop, the 21-year-old Chicago producer, inseparable from the come-ups of young artists like Chief Keef and Lil Reese, posted a series of Instagram videos, in which he called out an unnamed establishment of older Chicago industry folks who have a penchant for taking advantage of Chicago's young talent. He then specifically called out Kanye West, claiming that he is guilty of using Chicago artists for his own selfish reasons.

Hip-Hop Reacts To The Death Of Freddie Gray & Baltimore Riots
On April 12, 25-year-old Freddie Gray was arrested in Baltimore for possession of a switchblade, though it's still not clear why he was pursued in the first place. Police claim Gray was apprehended without force, though bystanders have suggested otherwise, and video evidence shows Gray screaming while being forced into the police's van. What happened next is still being investigated, though by the time Gray arrived at the police station, he was unresponsive, unable to talk or breathe.
