Last October, Vic Mensa marched in protest against the Chicago PD after they release footage of a police officer gunning down LaQuan McDonald. During Mensa's performance at a #JusticeForFlint event last night, he debuted a new song called "16 Shots," in reference to the number of bullets that struck McDonald.

Also in attendance last night were notable Oscar snubs "Creed" director Ryan Coogler and "Selma" director Ava DuVernay.

Mensa entertained the crowd with his hit "U Mad" before giving a quick speech and launching into "16 Shots," which sounds like it's gonna be a banger once we get the CDQ. "These niggas is irate/ You can see it in their eyes, they wanna violate," he raps.
