One of the more impressive cuts from Vee tha Rula's new mixtape "From the Jump."

Not usually known for its hip hop scene, Phoenix has produced a blue chip rapper in the form of Vee tha Rula. HNHH premiered his new mixtape From the Jump earlier today. One listen through reveals "Closure" to be one of the choicest cuts on the project.

"Closure" is more or less a shoutout to the haters who have spurned Tha Rula over the years. Despite the fact that he describes his buzz as "hot as Satan's a-hole," the track is an elegant and moving portrait of an artist who has tasted success, but is hungrier than ever.

Quotable Lyrics

I do it for the love, you hope that somebody is noticing
I used to move that dope, was hoping the product was potent, yeah
You niggas thought you had it locked, now Tha Rula decoding ya
