HNHH's "Underrated Audio" puts you on not-too-mainstream music you might have missed from the past week.
There was a lapse in UA last week due to me being sick and not being in the mood to do it. But this week we're back at it, giving you the tracks that HNHH posted last week that I felt deserved more views! And we're pretty much mid-October and the month's been great to hip-hop so far. Tomorrow we're going to be getting a new Gucci Mane mixtape which I've been looking forward too (oddly enough), plus we still gots a bunch of albums to look forward too at the end of the month like I mentioned in the last UA. Oh yeah and Wiz Khalifa is dropping Cabin Fever 2 today so my hopes are up. But mostly I'm waiting for the end of October to arrive...
Freeway went hard on the first single off his upcoming album Diamond in the Ruff. The Philly native is actually dropping a new mixtape today, for those who can't wait for the album (November 27th is the release date). Anyways, Freeway really goes in. And on top of that, the beat is crazy, a little more modern than what I'd expect from Freeway but it's great.
Dizzy Wright dropped this extremely smooth cut last week. It's mellowed out and at the same time uplifting, a perfect listen. Taking a cue from the song title, you should probably smoke one while you vibe out to this and reflect on your own life, just like Dizzy does. His EP, 1st Agreement, drops in November.
This record is just some good ol' hip-hop. A bunch of rap vets on one track together, over a old-school beat with scratches and all that. Fizzyology took me by surprise, but it sounds like it'll be a dope project.
Tris J aka Tristan Casanova is so jokes on a track. I'm talking about his lines and his ad-libs. He's just funny. You should listen to him. He released his second project, a mixtape called Tristal the other week, and it had a few features from Sir Michael Rocks (like this one). Mikey Rocks & Tris J are what's up.
