AyeLogics, a Seattle-based rapper by way of Las Vegas, teamed up with East Coast rapper Sir Michael Rocks for this bass-driven cut off AyeLogics’ upcoming project Odd Man Out. I hadn’t heard anything from this AyeLogics rapper before, but I like the vibes between him and Mikey, over this reminiscent-of-the-Cool-Kids-beat.
Killer Mike- All Gold Everything (Freestyle)
Yup, thisinstrumental is just about at its limit for annoying freestyles, but I’ll makean exception with Killer Mike 'cause he has bars. And he has a good voice forthe hard beat.
Jon Connor- Ol Connor Ish
Some “OlConnor Ish” is usually equal to some knowledge. This freestyle is no different, as Jon spits about societal issues over the“Ignorant Shit” instrumental, for a-not-so-ignorant song.
Ro Ransom- No Fucks Given
I like itwhen rappers go in over an oft-forgotten or old instrumental, rather thanhopping on some over-used industry one. As seen above. Ro’s first offering inthe New Year was this freestyle over classic Slim Shady, yet he changes up hisvocals and flow to make it into his own jam. No word yet on when we’ll begetting a new Ro Ransom project, but hopefully sooner rather than later.
HNHH's "Underrated Audio" puts you on not-too-mainstream music you might have missed from the past week.
This week we saw a comeback from Juelz Santana, which seems to be going over pretty well, my personal favorite is definitely the Banks feature (so far). Future also dropped his F.B.G. crew tape today, which as per usual, has people divided with equal amounts hate & love. I guess an auto-tuned rapper isolates people like that. You either hate it or love it. Anyways, for those who are not feeling either, or just want a different vibe, check out some songs below that deserved more views from last week.
