Ty Dolla $ign, YG & DJ Mustard Are Planning A Collaborative Album

Ty Dolla $ign reveals plans for a collaborative album with YG and DJ Mustard, as well as a possibility to work with Drake.

Ty Dolla $ign has been having a pretty huge year. He released his first retail release with the Beach House EP, showed up on plenty of hooks for artists as diverse as Lupe Fiasco and Meek Mill, and joined his new Taylor Gang buddy Wiz Khalifa on the Under The Influence tour. Ty sat down with NeHipHop on his tour bus to talk about what's next for him, including some big collaborative album plans with YG and DJ Mustard, some possible work with Drake, and the crazy tour bus lifestyle.

Check out some excerpts from the interview below.

On his upcoming album with DJ Mustard and YG:
Me and YG and Mustard low-key are about to do an album together. The Pushaz Ink: The Label album. We're getting a label deal and shit, so that's going to be the first project we release. We always wanted to do it, but now we're going to get paid to do it.

On working with Drake:
We've talked. He was supposed to be on "Or Nah" originally, but he was in Europe doing all types of other shit. We were talking about getting up again, possibly for his album, and on my album too, so I'm excited about that.

On the Under The Influence tour experiences:
The crowds have been going crazy everywhere we go, we've been smoking hella weed, and there are a lot of... uh... Tour Bus stories as well [laughs]. This is a very special room you're in.

On his upcoming projects:
My album's called Free TC, it's more about some serious shit, but I just completed another mixtape [$ign Language] that I'm about to drop, just because I'm doing all these songs. It's definitely influenced by the tour bus, and a lot of it was done on the tour bus.
