Ty Dolla $ign HNHH Digital Cover Shoot (Behind The Scenes)

Three weeks before the release of his debut album Free TC, Ty Dolla $ign came by HNHH Studios for his October/November digital cover photoshoot. Ty was low-energy but amicable, a "chillster" in the word of one staffer, smoking plenty of chronic as photographer Elijah Dominique went to work.

The shoot eventually migrated outside, to the plaza in front of NYC's iconic Flatiron Building. Ty's California skin was apparent as he shivered in the brisk mid-autumn wind. At one point, a familiar-looking middle-aged man walked by. "Isn't that Malik Yoba from Empire?" Ty said.
