Ever since the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting that shook the nation last month, many students have been fearful that their school may be the next target of such hateful crimes.
In Alabama, a 12 year-old by the name of Javon Davis and his friend wrote wills listing what they would leave each other if they were the unfortunate victims of a mass school shooting.
Davis' mother was surprised to hear that her son was preparing for his own death in advance of any potential tragedy. She revealed to CBS news that "it's really hard because he's so young. He just shouldn't have to go through that period, because, for what? He's in sixth grade. You have a lot ahead of you, and these things going on, you shouldn't have to worry about, go through or even think about."
In his will, Davis left his personal Playstation 4 console, cat, TV and Xbox to his best friend. He ended this heartfelt letter with a message that reads "Dear family, I love you all. You gave me the clothes on my back and you stuck with me all the time. Love, Javon."
However, the pre-teen has also revealed that whatever his fate is, he knows "t's going to be ok because God got me in his hands."
