The 89th Academy Awards concluded in bewildering fashion. La La Land was initially announced as the winner of Best Picture, and its producers came on stage to deliver their acceptance speeches. An unexpected murmur rippled through the gaggle on-stage, and producer Jordan Horowitz came forward to reveal that there had been a mistake and Moonlight had actually won Best Picture.
