Trippie Redd is gearing up for the release of Life’s a Trip, his debut studio album. Redd has been teasing the project for months, and has revealed that the album is expected to drop sometime this month. Well, with July drawing to a close and still no full release in sight, Trippie instead blessed fans with a new single on Sunday (July 22).
"Slow Down" did not appear on the rough 26 song tracklist that Trippie revealed himself, which makes sense. Redd reduces his role on the single to chorus duty, and allows Warhol.SS and Rocket Da Goon to take center stage with the verses. Redd experiments with his voice in autotune for the chorus, which is catchy and fun. Rocket Da Goon delivers the opening verse with a leisurely flow while Warhol.SS takes closing duties.
