It's a good time to be a Trippie Redd fan, as the young rapper has been steadily dropping off some of his best music -- in fact, his recent A Love Letter To You 4 has been praised as one of, if not the strongest album of his career. With all signs pointing to a continued upward trajectory, Trippie has already begun plotting the course for his next move.

Taking to Instagram, Redd confirmed that he'd be dropping off a brand new single, "Excitement," with PartyNextDoor this coming Friday. "New song with @partynextdoor Friday! Who's excited ?" he writes, alongside an image of the presumed single artwork. As is often the case with this generation of rappers, Trippie (or one of his affiliates) have already previewed the track at length, making snippets of the melodic tune relatively easy to find.
Should you be interested in seeing where Redd is aiming to go on his upcoming Pegasus album, check back on Friday for the brand new lead single. Not only is it set to be a return for the Ohio rapper, but a continuation of PND's own momentum. You may recall that he recently dropped off his PartyMobile album at the tail end of March, making this one of his more active release periods in a minute.
