Last night, XXXTentacion performed at a benefit concert for the victims of the Parkland shooting, where he proceeded to apologize to Trippie Redd for any animosity he may have had. "I got a song with this amazing artist, bro. There is an amazing artist that I made the song with, and I know that this motherfucker probably hates me for whatever reason he has, but I don't care." In true men-making-up fashion, he concluded with a powerful "I love you bro," and segued into a performance of his 17 track "Fuck Love."
Evidently, Trippie was moved by the gesture, and threw up a heartfelt post on Instagram addressing X's apology. "I love you too bro 💯 thanks for this it takes a real man to speak on shit and really apologize for their actions," writes Trippie. "u a smart ass guy just remember I’m always in your corner and I also apologize for anything I’ve said about you I don’t hate u zzz @xxxtentacion hml."
Overall, it's good news for fans of both artists, as Trippie and X seemed to be sitting on some fire; one track in particular sounded crazy. Perhaps now that the pair have put aside their squabbles, they can continue to get money and solidify themselves as two of the younger generation's most promising voices.
