Fashion brands collaborating with rappers has been en vogue for a little while now, and based on another Instagram post from Travi$ Scott last night suggests he may be next in line. The post features a black sweatshirt with an artist’s rendition of Scott riding a bucking bronco, the text ‘Exhibit A: Maharishi La Flame’ and the caption “Soon ☠☠☠.” It’s the same bucking bronco image that appears on the custom Maharishi jacket the Houston emcee and producer posted in November of 2015, clearly an affiliation with his album Rodeo. The sweatshirt is a much less gaudy version of the design.
There is no word on how large the partnered collection will be, or where it will be available, but you can be sure it’ll be highly coveted by Travi$ Scott fans.
Maharishi is an English clothing brand “founded in 1994 by Hardy Blechman with the great vision to create environmentally sound, fair-trade produced, long-lasting, high-quality, utilitarian clothing. The collection has always included the strong natural fibre hemp as well as organic cottons and upcycled military clothing.”
Compared to A$AP Rocky’s recent collaboration with Guess, we can expect this release to be a bit more expensive. We’ll update once we have more information on the release.
