Houston rapper Travis Scott didn't take too well to being snubbed by the Grammys. Despite being featured on award-nominated tracks, Scott failed to gain The Recording Academy's attention. On December 30th 2016, he tweeted that this year he was "making more beats."
Barely two weeks have gone by and Monday, he previewed some of his new music on Snapchat. In the video, Scott lights up a spliff and bumps to a new track while a friend dances in the background. The new track sounds finished or at least close to completion.
Despite getting a number 1 album with Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight, he's still isn't getting the recognition he feels he deserve. He's gone straight back to the studio and promised Astroworld, a new album due out this year. Producer Mike Dean said in an interview that he was working with Scott on his next album. And at the pace he's going, we might not have to wait for Astroworld too long.
