Translee is an Alabama transplant, currently based in Atlanta. His sound is decidedly different from the current brand of rap currently coming out of the region, as it channels a variety of styles, with elements of his Alabama upbringing present, as well as chopped and screwed vocals, generally attributed to Houston, being worked into his music.

The song also features an interesting sample, borrowing a vocal line from Portishead's "Nylon Smile". The trip-hop outfit is becoming a more common source, as we heard The Weeknd pull from Third on his most recent album, Kiss Land.

His mixtape, Cultur3 Junky drops later tonight.

Quotable Lyrics:
Top floor can you hear me?
I'm just trying to do right by God
30,000 feet in the air
I swear young nigga feelin' right by God
