Interview Jesus, aka Nardwuar the Human Serviette, has been posting one SXSW interview per day. This morning, he posted an excellent 8-minute interview with Trae tha Truth, in which they discuss Houston rap history, from Street Military, the street group that "set the wave," to the brick-and-mortar institution Screwed Up Records & Tapes. Trae explained that Houston was never too invested in radio -- it was much more advantageous as an artist to end up on a DJ Screw tape.

The last question Narduwar asked Trae was why people should care about him. "I think I've set myself apart from a lot of people," Trae answered thoughtfully. "So with me it's going to be very interesting and in different. With me, you just see the good and the bad. you just get the truth, all in all.

Trae gave Nardwuar a Bumpboxx and, in the final moments of the interview, his jewelry. Watch below.
